Be A Unicorn in A World of Donkeys

Hello again!
This week was a rather intense week and so I woke up this morning and decided to think positively- so I woodburned this tiny unicorn pendent.
I am going out this afternoon {in the rain} to hit a few antique shops to see if they would like to display (or rent me a space) for my artwork. Hopefully the venue I choose will be more lucrative than the occasional shows that I have participated in.
No one told me that being an artist required $2,000 - $5,000 for the "opportunity" to share my art at shows or to exhibit at higher mainstream venues. However, that is exactly what it costs and the means I have to fund myself are limited to my environment. In the "business" world- I have very little difficulty towards a modest living which about pays for rent, food, utilities, and occasionally wood pieces for wood burning.
Clearly, I have to believe in myself :).
So today is a short post- just wanted to share my little unicorn before I hit the streets to seek assistance from local shops- so wish me luck! Oh and that cute little pendent will be posted here soon- just waiting on the coating to dry before posting it up- and yes I put that saying on the back of it - hand painted in gold lettering. To be honest, I am not sure if I am ready to part with it yet...
About the artist...
